A man in Texas is being accused for two sex crimes and a third assault, a Nov. 19 report has indicated. The man, a 23-year-old, has been accused of sexually assaulting victims in University Park and Corsicana. He has allegedly been linked by DNA evidence to a sexual assault case in Grand Prairie as well.

In April, the Grand Prairie Police reportedly responded to a call about a sexual assault on East Springdale Drive; the victim reported that she had been assaulted between two nearby dumpsters after being grabbed from behind by the man. In that case, the DNA was reported to be a match to the young man.

If the other cases are linked to him, the 23-year-old will now be facing three aggravated sexual assault charges. Only one of the cases has a DNA link through evidence, the news reported. The man is already in jail and has been since September because he had allegedly led the Navarro College police on a chase. The police reported that they had been reporting to a sexual assault on the campus when they began chasing the man.

The 23-year-old man has confessed to the assault at University Park and been linked to the Grand Prairie case, but there is no direct information on the Corsicana assault. The man is currently in jail with a bond set of $1 million.

Facing a sexual assault charge is not an easy task. Sometimes, police will try to link your image or location to other crimes in the area; you have a right to protect yourself from those unwarranted charges. Speak with someone familiar with your rights to prevent being treated unfairly.
