If you’re charged with a crime, then you know you have a right to seek a defense. Your defense can include information that backs your side of the story, which may make your case clearer. Sexual offenses are serious charges, since they can affect a defendant long before trial. You could be restricted from working with children or put in jail while you wait for your case to be heard.

You are innocent until proven otherwise, so it’s important to seek the help you need when you can. Take for instance a case where a man tried to get his bail reduced; it was denied, despite the fact that he has not been found guilty and is unable to work while in jail. The main’s bond is set at $1.2 million, and now a judge has added an extra condition.

According to the judge’s new conditions, the man is not allowed to contact the accuser or to have contact with anyone under 18. The police warrants claim that the man had raped a girl between 1994 and 1999, and she’s now come forward. There is no word on why it’s been so long and why she didn’t report the crime sooner.

The man is a ministry leader at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church in Dallas, Texas, but he is being held in Brunswick County, North Carolina. The case is being held in North Carolina since the investigators believe that’s where the assault took place.

This man’s next hearing is in August, so the allegations against him are affecting his professional and personal life while he sits in jail. This is why its so important to present a strong defense against such charges.
